The award winning Wharf Shed Restaurant is uniquely located directly on Whakatane’s historic wharf. Noted for chowder and seafood dishes, the menu also offers prime steaks, lamb, sushi and vegetarian meals.

The Wharf Shed provides a warm hospitable atmosphere where the food is memorable, the staff are cheerfully attentive and the venue is superb.

June to September
*Early Bird Dinners Between 5.30 & 6.30pm daily we offer two-course dinner for just $29.50 The meal must be ordered before 6.30pm

July 15th to July 17th
*A Taste of Italy
During the winter months we invite you to be adventurous and join us for a Taste of Italy. Our usual menu will be suspended and substituted by authentic Italian cuisine together with imported Italian Wines. “Dis isa gonnabe a lot ov funa. Booka now!”

August 7th to August 21st
*Mid Winter Christmas
Popular demand for our Christmas themed winter menu will see the return of the event this year. The set-price, three-course meal will include choice of starter, roast turkey or honey roast ham on the bone, and a Christmas dessert, plus all the trimmings. This is a great event and we advise you to book early. [This menu will be available as an addition to our normal menu]
